Studio Overhead Softbox

Introducing the newest addition to Suburbia, a 3x1.5m custom built motorised overhead bowens mount softbox powered by 2x amaran 660c full colour continuous lights, plus 2 extra 660c's on rolling stands. All controlled & programmable via the studio iMac.

To raise and lower the softbox, first make sure noone is under the softbox while in motion. Use the yellow remote on the back wall. The motor will stop at it’s highest point and will go all the way to the floor if needed.

To change the angle of the softbox, bring it down to just above the floor, then pull on the rope on each corner to lift the end. The blue tabs on the rope indicate where it is level.
