Bookings and pick-ups can be arranged for any time you need. 7 days / week.

Suburbia features a 3 sided cyclorama (seamless wall) which measure 9m wide x 5m deep. The remaining 50m2 of studio has a polished concrete floor and 5.3m wide flat white wall and a concrete wall at the opposite end.

There is a 3.6m wide x 4m high roller door with a bi-fold door for drive in projects, pack-in pack-out, or to let in light and fresh air. With the roller door closed the studio is completely light sealed for full control over your lighting setup. We have soft daylight balanced overhead LED panels for setup. Suburbia is not a natural light studio.

Whilst we can facilitate sound recording and video production, please note that the studio is not sound proof, or built as a sound stage. Our ceiling and walls are lined with acoustic insulation to cut out some of the reflected noise, and help with rain noise. Our bi-fold door is acoustic laminated to help with keeping sound out. The offices and commercial businesses surrounding Suburbia mean that occasional music, operational noise and vehicle noise is possible.

Half day studio hire (8am - 12.30pm, 1.30pm - 6pm or 4.5 hourly by prior arrangement) $250+gst.

Full day studio hire (8am - 6pm or by prior arrangement) $400+gst.

Evening studio hire (6.30pm - 10pm or by prior arrangement) $200+gst.

Please note that pack-in and pack-out is included in your allocated studio time slot.

A security deposit for floor repaint of $150 or $300 is required, and is refunded upon leaving the studio is good condition.

Multi-day hires include a 20% discount.

All pricing listed excludes GST.

All hires must be paid in full prior to pick-up.

The house (overhead) LED light panels are not designed to be used as photographic/video lighting by themselves, but can supplement your constant or strobe lights.

Lighting equipment is essential when using the studio. We recommend either bringing your own or hiring from our large range of lighting equipment available.

Suburbia has a professional sound system with Spotify integration, XLR Mic and RCA Inputs.

The projector can be connected to via HDMI, or the Apple TV.

During business hours we ask you keep music at a reasonable woking level.

If you cannot make your booking, please let us know asap to reschedule. – We can provide a full refund for cancelations 7 days prior to a booking date.

A 25% fee will apply to cancelations within 7 days if no postponement date is arranged.

We do not provide refunds for cancelations within 24 hours of a booking.
