Suburbia features a 3 sided cyclorama (seamless wall) which measure 9m wide x 5m deep. The remaining 50m2 of studio has a polished concrete floor and 5.3m wide flat white wall and a concrete wall at the opposite end.

There is a 3.6m wide x 4m high roller door with a bi-fold door for drive in projects (2.3m max height), pack-in pack-out, or to let in light and fresh air. With the roller door closed the studio is completely light sealed for full control over your lighting setup. We have soft daylight balanced overhead LED panels for setup. Suburbia is not a natural light studio.

Full Day (8am - 6pm or by prior arrangement)

with 4x Amaran 660c continuous full colour LEDs, 2 in overhead softbox and 2 on rolling stands. $650+gst.

with 2x Godox AD600Pro in overhead softbox and 2x AD400Pro strobes on rolling stands. $650+gst.

Half Day (8am - 12.30pm or 1.30pm - 6pm or by prior arrangement)

with 4x Amaran 660c continuous full colour LEDs, 2 in overhead softbox and 2 on rolling stands. $400+gst.

with 2x Godox AD600Pro in overhead softbox and 2x AD400Pro strobes on rolling stands. $400+gst.

without lighting $300+gst.

Evening (6.30pm - 10pm or by prior arrangement)

with 4x Amaran 660c continuous full colour LEDs, 2 in overhead softbox and 2 on rolling stands. $400+gst.

with 2x Godox AD600Pro in overhead softbox and 2x AD400Pro strobes on rolling stands. $400+gst.

without lighting $300+gst.

Please note that pack-in and pack-out is included in your allocated studio time slot.

A security deposit of $200 or $400 is required, and is refunded upon leaving the studio in good condition.

A floor repaint fee of $200 will be charged if studio floor is heavily marked. Please only wear clean shoes, supplied studio crocs, or socks. Some activities like dancers, groups of kids, vehicles, etc will mark the floor and will be charged accordingly.

Multi-day hires include a 20% discount.

Lighting equipment is essential when using the studio. If dry hiring the studio we recommend either bringing your own or hiring from our large range of lighting equipment available.

The house (overhead) LED panels are not designed to be used as photographic/video lighting by themselves and may produce undesirable colours.

Whilst we can facilitate sound recording and video production, please note that the studio is not sound proof, or built as a sound stage. Our ceiling and walls are lined with acoustic insulation to cut out some of the external and reflected noise, and help with rain noise. Our bi-fold door is acoustic laminated to help with keeping sound out. The offices and commercial businesses surrounding Suburbia mean that occasional music, operational noise and vehicle noise is possible.

Suburbia has a professional sound system with Spotify integration, XLR Mic and RCA Inputs.

The projector can be connected to via HDMI, or the Apple TV.

During business hours we ask you keep music at a reasonable woking level.

A 25% fee will apply to cancelations within 7 days if no postponement date is arranged.

We do not provide refunds for cancelations within 24 hours of a booking.
